The basic search bar is best used for quick searches and is located at the top of catalog
The drop-down on the left-side of the search bar can be used to specify where you'd like to look for the term. 'Library catalog' is used as the basic keyword search option
Push 'Enter', or click 'Go' to search
Search results can be sorted using the 'Relevance' drop-down on the right side of the search results
Search results can be filtered using the filter options on the left-side of the results
To learn more about an item, click the title to open its record
The main page of the title's record shows publication information and additional information like the contents of the book, and relevant subjects
'Holdings' provide information about the availability and location of an item
'Title notes' provides additional information about an item
Advanced Search
Advanced search is used for doing targeted searches
Click the 'Advanced Search' button located at the top of the page to the right of the basic search bar
In Advanced Search there are several options for adding search parameters. Click either of the green 'Search' buttons at anytime to run the search
Add search term(s). Use the '+' to add more search term boxes as needed. Use drop-downs to specify where to search for a term
Narrow search focus by item in the 'Item Type' tab. Commonly searched item types are identified with arrows
Add search term(s). Under 'Collection' tab, select (one, or both):
O'Keeffe Personal Library, Abiquiu Bookroom to search the items from O'Keeffe's Abiquiu property
O'Keeffe Personal Library, Ghost Ranch Library to search the items from O'Keeffe's Ghost Ranch property
Filter search results on left side of page. Sort results using the drop-down at the top right of the screen
'Holdings' tab provides information about what collection the item belongs to and where it is located
"Title notes' tab provides additional information about the item. Unique information specific to O'Keeffe's copy is found here. Unique information could be inscriptions, annotations, and if anything was found inside of the book
